This tour is intended to show you some of the sights of the inner city which it is not possible to visit during the course of the Grand City Tour. After a short stroll on foot, a visit will be made to St Stephan’s cathedral, the landmark of Vienna and witness of over 1000 years of history. The tour then continues to the unique Spanish Riding School, home of the world-famous Lippizaner horses, where it will be possible to watch a morning training session. (please note that this only takes place Tuesday-Friday and the Spanish Riding School is completely closed in July and August!). Alternatively a visit to the nearby Lippizaner museum can be made, which documents the history of the white stallions. The tour ends with a visit to the Imperial Treasure or the Court Tableware and Silver Depot (smaller groups only).

  • St.Nicholas' Festival in Nancy during european tours to France

    Every year in the first weekend of December, St. Nicholas' Festival returns to Nancy with its many festivities and its big Christmas market on Place Charles III. Over 65 exhibitors attend the event in brightly lit chalets, offering the public original gift ideas, art and craft objects and local specialities.
